I thought it was my ISP cutting off torrent downloads automatically and it pissed me off.

Now I find out that its just a Modem Error from to many connections I just switched to connections and am hoping for the best. It seems that the connection has improved now also.

Not sure about your router but most have a way to Block certain websites. Put in sites like thepiratebay. You can also do some searching for "blocking ports" but if you do that its possible other things might be blocked so I've always stayed away from that. Good luck!
