The spat makes for good copy, but whoever thinks it will impact the product on the field is woefully misguided. How do they handle the running game with Mark Ingram out the first four games? He had carries and 81 catches, but I think even if Ingram was around the entire season, Kamara would be getting more carries in And he should. Will the new pieces on offense — especially running back Saquon Barkley — get Eli Manning back playing at a high level?

In , Manning threw 35 touchdown passes and 14 interceptions. Last season, it was 19 touchdown passes and 13 interceptions. His yards-per-attempt average was down to a paltry 6.

Manning had little in terms of weapons when he lost top receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Beckham was limited to four games. Then there were more injuries to the receiving corps and Manning had little help. The offensive line was bad as well. Now the line has help, signing left tackle Nate Solder from the Patriots and drafting guard Will Hernandez.

But the biggest help should come from Barkley, the second-overall pick in the April draft. His ability to run the football will help get the pass rushers off Manning. Getting Beckham back will help as well. Manning is 37 now, but I still think he has some good football left in his right arm — and the help on offense will show that. When does rookie quarterback Sam Darnold start?

The job is open, but realistically I think he might take over somewhere in the middle of the season. The Rams started Jared Goff in the final seven games of his rookie season, and I think the Jets might follow a similar path.

I would play him right away, but I doubt the Jets do that. Gruden comes down from the broadcast booth to take over as the Raiders head coach for a second time. He is being paid a ton, which puts even more pressure on him to turn around a team that went backwards last season.

But just remember: He was in his last six seasons at Tampa Bay. The team appears ready to make a real push to repeat. In fact, I think the Eagles will be a better team than the one that won it last season.

That matters. We love to rush quarterbacks up the star tree. And Garoppolo seems to be on the fast track up it. I think he will be really good, but he did throw only seven touchdown passes against five interceptions for the 49ers last year.

That has to be a better ratio going forward. The tools are there, but now the league has tape on him in San Francisco, which will make it tougher for him. Will the depleted defense be able to play close to the lofty standards set the past five seasons? There will be a lot of changes, including a new defensive coordinator in Ken Norton Jr.

Norton will face a challenge because many of the key defensive players who helped the Seahawks become a power are gone. Michael Bennett is in Philadelphia. Richard Sherman is in San Francisco after being let go, and Cliff Avril was let go because of his neck issues. That leaves a lot of young talent that needs to step up and become major playmakers, players like corner Shaquill Griffin and defensive linemen Jarran Reed and Dion Jordan. The defense struggled to get pressure on the passer, which led to a lot of big plays and a passing defense that was putrid.

But coordinator Mike Smith now has pieces to help him call his defense. Plus, they drafted massive tackle Vita Vea in the first round. They also drafted some much-needed secondary help. There is no doubt the defense will be improved, but it needs better play from corner Vernon Hargreaves and some others. If this defense can get into the low teens in terms of yards allowed, the Bucs could be a playoff team and more.

He helped Jared Goff take a big step forward last season, and the belief is he can do the same for Mariota. LaFleur is a big believer in play-action passing, getting chunk plays, but also using a lot of pre-snap movement and bunch formations to help get guys open. Mariota was very good on play-action passes last season, so I think this marriage could be a good one.

He is coming off an outstanding season for the Chiefs, his best ever, so the Redskins have to hope he can continue playing at that level. Baggage claim is often one of the most stressful aspects of air travel. Many things can go wrong — suitcases can be lost or sent to the wrong destination, mistakenly picked up by someone else , or damaged during the flight.

In Marsh's video, a Hawaiian Airlines baggage handler can be seen throwing suitcases out of the airplane.

The unidentified baggage handler tosses the baggage in what some deemed a rough manner, causing some of the suitcases to bounce as they tumble down the chute.

According to her caption, the footage depicts the ground crew at Honolulu loading up a Hawaiian Airlines flight to Phoenix. The mystery of all my broken suitcases is solved - this is the ground crew at Honolulu loading up a HawaiianAir flight to Phoenix.

How many times do we complain to the airlines about damaged or broken luggage only to be told that under no circumstances would any airline be responsible. Well done girl!! Considering how much airfares are, I don't think just a tiny bit more care is too much to ask. It has one of the highest durability ratings but can only take so much rough stuff. As I was scrolling my feed I was thinking about putting my MacBook in my checked bag this afternoon Poho to put anything in a suitcase if they throw it around like that!

Not rare at this airport. It's a pervasive mentality on Oahu. Yall really surprised about this That's actually not that bad. This is one of the best airlines in the world. It never is. Yet if the flight is delayed due to the ramp trying to make sure. Someone who said they are a ramp agent pointed out that "it's never anyone's intention to damage a bag. The way these bags were handled is not acceptable and our Airport Operations Management team is addressing this situation.

In response to Marsh on Twitter, Hawaiian Airlines issued an apology and also claimed that the Airport Operations Management team would address the situation. The NBA has never seen a player like James — a 6-foot-8 physical force with a high basketball IQ and few weaknesses in his game. His talent and athleticism are still unmatched. Even rarer is his longevity. At 33 years old, in his 15th season in the NBA, LeBron James did something he had never done before — played all 82 games in the regular season.

There is no rest program in place for James, who should theoretically be in the back-end of his prime. Instead, James is carrying even more weight than usual for a Cavs squad that relies on him even more than in past seasons. Last season, his 14th in the NBA, James averaged career highs in rebounds and assists per game while shooting above his career averages from the field and three. This year, he's raised his scoring, rebounding, and assist averages while maintaining the same efficiency from the field.

James' sustained excellence boils down to his unrivaled work ethic — and, specifically, the care he gives to his body. Additionally, James' house is essentially a laboratory with a team of scientists that help him stay in tip-top shape.

That team includes a former Navy SEAL who serves as his biomechanist, a recovery coach, the Cavs' team of physical coaches and trainers, plus personal chefs and masseuses. According to Windhorst, James has a full gym, ice tub and hot tub, and hyperbaric chamber in his home.

His former teammate Mike Miller told Bleacher Report's David Cassilo last year that James treats his fitness and health as an investment — one that will surely pay off down the line.

Anyone with a relationship with James says he takes immaculate care of his body. Kevin Durant once told Bill Simmons about James' dedication to his health. He has to keep that in shape. Like, he works on his body, like, religiously. Durant said that while James worked on his skills, he dedicated much of his time to staying in shape. James' longevity is even more incredible when considering the tremendous workload he has carried during his career. James has made the playoffs in 12 of his 14 seasons and is on a streak of seven straight Finals appearances.

He hasn't had a season that ended before June since He's logged the 28th-most regular-season minutes in NBA history and is second all-time in playoff minutes, according to Basketball-Reference. According to Cassilo, James was one of the first players with a cryochamber. In , Ken Berger pulled back the curtains on James' body preparation. After games, Berger reported, James does things like drink electrolyte-rich drinks, take ice baths, and receive electrostimulation.

He wears compression sleeves and tights on flights to keep his blood flowing. Even James' teammates, the people around him every day, say they are amazed by his reservoir of energy and athleticism.

Former Cavs guard Iman Shumpert told Complex last summer that James often participated in dunk contests with him, throwing the ball off the wall, going through the legs, and more. Shumpert said he would ask James, incredulously: "'Bro, you warm already? Don't you got three kids? He put that ice on right after the game — he gonna sit there. Because I gotta do everything I gotta do to make sure I preserve my body so I can do this tomorrow.

I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion. In , James had arguably the most significant physical setback of his career.

In the middle of January, while both he and the Cavs were struggling, James took two weeks off to rehabilitate his back, which had been giving him problems. Windhorst later reported that James had received anti-inflammatory shots for his back and that the Cavs wanted him to take time off to recover.

Richard Jefferson told Simmons on a podcast that when he arrived in Cleveland in , James' back was still giving him problems. Jefferson said he recommended "biomechanics," or core strengthening, to James, and he thinks it's taken James' career to a new level.

Core stability on ball to finish up the workout! Everything starts and ends with the core. No core no nothing! It's unclear how much longer James can continue to play at this level, but thus far there's been no indication that he's close to slowing down.

Around the clock every single day, working on my body," James told Windhorst. Continuing just to build strength throughout the season when everybody else is kind of tearing down I've kind of figured that out in my 15th season. Both players are serious about taking care of their bodies, and as a result, both are on top of their sports.

David Leitch has proven to be one of the top filmmakers in the action movie genre with only two movies under his belt — but they certainly left an impression. It proved that they could do more than just come up with innovative fight sequences.

He could really direct. His stylized Cold War ultra-violent tale starring Charlize Theron wowed audiences. With Leitch at the helm and likely a little more budget than the first one , and with Ryan Reynolds reprising the outlandish Marvel superhero, the movie feels bigger and more slick. Jason Guerrasio: Was getting on "Deadpool 2" similar to what you did with "Atomic Blonde" where you showed Charlize a kind of sizzle reel of your vision of the movie?

David Leitch: It was a completely different experience. I had gotten the gig to develop it and I had just started working in that world and then when this opportunity came up for "Deadpool" — "We're going to be doing 'Deadpool 2' first, would you be interested in directing?

It was more an offer because we had a relationship. It was a daunting decision to make because what I liked about the idea of "X-Force" was that I would be able to break new ground and create my own world. Here you have this franchise that's a global phenomenon and how are you going to meet the expectations of that? But because there's an element of "X-Force," really the introduction of these characters in this world, I sort of got to have my cake and eat it too, I guess.

I felt there was enough room in the creative palette of what "Deadpool" can be for me to have an impact as a director, but also stay true to what people love from the original. Guerrasio: And I'm assuming there was something on page already, so you could have some vision of where they wanted to go with the sequel when you came on?

Leitch: Well, no. They had gone down the road of trying to crack the story of what we wanted to do for number two, and when I came on board they were sort of piecing things together from those ideas. So I was loosely involved in the beginning of that process as I was coming on board.

We put the movie out in note cards, as you do, and they went away and wrote it as I started to prep. We had a short time. We knew we were shooting in Vancouver, so we were scouting locations as the pages were coming in. Leitch: It is. It's because of that release date. The release date pressure. Leitch: It's hanging in the air and every week you push principal photography it gives you less days on post. And on these big visual effects movies, post is key.

It's really hard with these release date schedules. Guerrasio: And with this movie in particular, because your main character is wearing a mask, post is crucial because if you guys think of a better line or joke, you can place it in with very little extra work.

Leitch: You want to allow for that process to take place. You need a window of creativity in post that you may not have in another movie. You have the luxury of putting words in the mask: making a joke more current, or work better, or help the narrative with a couple of lines. You want to maximize that. Leitch: I was pretty aware of it. I had never done it before, but talking to Ryan and his experience on the last film and understanding how post works, it's a great tool.

But we needed time to experiment. And test jokes. We needed some sort of development period where we're not under the pressure of the release date. Leitch: Yeah. And I'm grateful we did. We were testing really high. We were testing in the 90s in our first test screening. It was crazy. On an independent film you get that score you pack up shop and polish the color and sound and ship the movie. But because we had the resources of the studio and we had gotten our first test out early we felt we could improve on this.

We did test a couple of more times and we refined jokes and we trimmed scenes, and it was definitely progressive. Our scores were increasing all the way to the last one where we had this insane score. Butler Ave. To send condolences to the fam- ily, please visit the funeral home website www.

South St. An explosion inside the com- pressorbuildingat Williams Lath- rop Compressor Station, located near Springville, Susquehanna County, sparkeda fire that burned for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes March The accident sparked tensions in Dallas Town- ship, where a natural gas gather- ing line passing through the Lath- rop Compressor Station enters the Transco in- terstate gas pipeline.

DEP asked Williams tocon- duct its own in- vestigation and issueareport on what happened prior to the ex- plosion. According to the report: On the morning of the accident a worker was performing mainte- nance work on compressor unit 3, one of seven natural gas compres- sors at the station.

Duringthat op- eration the worker isolated the compressor from the others by locking two valve locks. The worker placed keys to the two valve locks in a lockbox, but couldnot recall placinga personal lock on the lockbox.

Two other workers then en- tered the compressor building and did not see the first worker. Assuming maintenance on the compressor had finished, the workers reopened the valves and began returning the compressor to service. Thefailuretoensurethat gas re- mained isolated until work was completed allowed gas to be rein- troduced to the compressor be- fore it was ready. Three workers in the building heard gas flowing from the com- pressor and immediately left the building, hitting the emergency shut-down button as they left, which stopped gas flow into and out of the building.

It also opened valves that de- pressurize the compressors. As this was occurring, gas trapped in unit 3 ignited, causing an explo- sion.

Gas trapped in pipes inside the building continued to burn for 30 minutes, and a secondary fire fed by residual oil in unit 3 continued to burn for an additional two hours. Williams blamed the accident on failure to adhere to its internal procedures. DEP has not yet issued a public response to the Williams report. Spokeswoman Colleen Connol- ly said the department has sent Williams several follow-up ques- tions, but is not releasing those questions until the company has a chance to reviewthem.

Council has a plan to move our police station from the entrance to the lake to a more obscure location on a private road at the opposite end of the lake. It is my strong opinion that the police station should remain at the main entrance to our community to show police presence. If one had to pinpoint what represents our downtown, where countless visitors congregate, it would be at the Sunset sec- tion that includes Grotto Pizza, Jones Pancakes, the Villa Roma and nearby es- tablishments.

While we have the state access area at the other end of the lake, people do not congregate there. In fact, it is forbidden. They launch their boats, park their vehi- cles and trailers and go out onto the lake.

This area also is patrolled by the state. Furthermore, the building in which they want to put the police station has been unused for many years. The taxpayers recently updated the existing police sta- tion, including upgrades such as a new heating and air-conditioning system. Council is proposing moving the bor- ough secretary across the street into the police station. If council makes this move, the taxpayers will begin to pay heat, elec- tric and maintenance on two buildings, instead of one.

This idea was not well thought out, or even presented at a public meeting. I am a minority member of council and will not be voting for this foolish move. However, if the residents dont show up and express their opinions at this meeting, you can almost certainly bet that this move will take place.

The reference appeared in the April 2 edition of the Har- risburg Patriot-News, but he also has used this term on PCN and in other interviews. To earn a CPA license, one must gradu- ate from an accredited college or universi- ty, pass a rigorous national CPA exam and meet a work experience requirement. CPAs use the knowledge and experience needed to earn the CPA license to serve not only as auditors who provide trusted information to the investing public, but also as business advisers for clients, CEOs of major corporations and managers at state-funded programs to ensure that they are administered appropriately.

CPAs are trained to look for waste and fraud, and to identify ways to create efficiencies. CPAs are critical to the office of auditor general because they are the only profes- sionals licensed to conduct audits.

The auditor general does not have to be a CPA, but the effectiveness and leadership capa- bilities of auditor general would be greatly enhanced by possessing knowledge of the offices staff.
